Spanish Lessons with a twist of travel in Chiloé Cultural Island

3 Days/ 2 Nights

Included: bilingual guide, private transportation, 3 lunches, all activities and taxes. Note: meals are from a set tourist menu with a vegetarian option. The first non-alcoholic beverage included Not included: alcohol, tips.

Day  1 –  Arrival  to  Castro –You  will  arrive  to  the bus  terminal  or  airport  to  the  city  of  Castro  where  you will  meet  you  guide/tutor.  Lunch  will  be  at  a  local restaurant.  After  lunch  we  will  spend  a  couple  hours evaluating  your  needs  in  learning  Spanish  and  that evening  suggest  a  place  for  you  to  lodge  and  have  a dinner. (Pick  up  at  Bus  terminal  or  Castro  Airport. Lunch at a local Restaurant. 2-hour Spanish lesson)

Day 2 – City of Castro – After a nice breakfast at your hotel we will   pick   you   up   to   go   visit   the colourful  farmer’s  market  of  Castro where   you   will   learn   about   the freshest  products  from  the  country and  the  sea,  both  in  English  and Spanish.   We   will   then   go   to   our office   where   you   will spend   two intensive  hours  of  Spanish  lessons.  We  will  go  for  lunch  at a local restaurant and perhaps a nice coffee or tea after lunch. In the Afternoon we will  walk  around  Castro  enjoying  some  of  its major  highlights such  as  the  Church of  San  Francisco  declared  World  Heritage by  UNESCO  which  dates  from  1912  and  was  built  entirely  in wood.  Castro’s  famous  Palafitos  which  are  stilt  houses  iconic of   the   island   life,   local   museum,   and   handicrafts   market among others. Early evening return to lodging.  (Bilingual  guide/tutor,  lunch  at  a  local  restaurant , 2  hour Spanish   lesson,   coffee   break,   activities, transportation   if needed, city tour)

Day 2 – Dalcahue and Quinchao Island – After breakfast we will have another 2-hour Spanish lesson applying what we learned the previous day and we will head to de fishing village of Dalcahue where we will visit its colorful market and have lunch in its traditional cookeries where we will try some of the typical gastronomy of the island. During the afternoon we will take a ferry and cross to the island of Quinchao which is the largest of the archipelago and home to the oldest Jesuit wooden church in the south of Chile. During the evening we will take you to your lodging. (Transportation, bilingual guide/tutor, 2-hour Spanish lesson, lunch at local cookeries, coffee break, activities, ferry crossing)

Day  3 –  Chiloe  Natural  Park – Your  guide/tutor  will  meet  you  at  your  hotel from  where  we  will  drive  south  to  the  city  of  Chonchi,  home  to  another Unesco church  from  where  we  will  continue  West  to  the  Pacific  Coast  bordering  the Huillinco  and  Cucao  Lakes.  This  is  the  southern  entrance  to  the  National  Park where  we  will  walk  into  the  Chiloe  forest  and  visit  a  25  Km.  (40  mile)  pristine beach  enjoying  a  gourmet  picnic  lunch.  We  will  be  returning  back  to  Castro  at aroun   !7:00   hrs. (Transportation,   bilingual   guide/tutor,   visit   to   Chonchi, admission to the National Park, picnic lunch)
